Planning my training

The thing I will need to work on most is the bike. But realistically I won't be able to do many sessions per week. So I will probably arrive on the start line undertrained, which has been my MO for the last few years anyway.

If there is alcohol in the drinking challenge then I will also have to practice a bit as I hardly drink at all these days. Now that sounds better.

Everything is on hold until after May in any case due to work and other things.


  1. A week away in New Orleans in a posh hotel eating and drinking too much with old university friends, sounds like party training to me.

  2. I did manage a category 2 Hurricane on the last night. The most significant training was surmounting the pain barrier from presenting my poster all day in high heels on a concrete floor. It was not the plan to wear those shoes but my others had already cut my feet up the day before.
